CeMCOR is currently recruiting participants for two research studies:
1. Progesterone Therapy for Hot Flushes in Menopause
CeMCOR is currently recruiting healthy women past menopause for a study of natural progesterone capsules (Prometrium®) compared with placebo capsules. This four-month study examines progesterone’s effects on hot flushes and on risks for heart disease especially how blood flow works (endothelial function). To find out more about the study, click here.
CeMCOR is looking for women who have been diagnosed with or told they probably have Anovulatory Androgen Excess (aka Polysystic Ovarian Syndrome) to probe the possibility that there is a genetic link between AAE/PCOS and a rare eye disorder called aniridia. Find out more here.
